What is Impressions of Humanity?

A Global

Artistic

Movement.

Impressions of Humanity Inc, a nonprofit founded by visionary artist Marcos Antonio, celebrates the power of art to unite people across the globe. Our mission is to highlight our shared humanity—transcending borders, backgrounds, and differences—by creating a powerful symbol of connection, unity, and understanding through art.

Our goal is to collect 2,000 hand or finger impressions from individuals in each of the 193 United Nations (UN) countries. These hand impressions will be transformed into breathtaking large-scale canvas artworks featuring the nation’s flag, accompanied by a compelling video documentary and imagery that capture the diverse stories and lives of the participants. Each nation's completed artwork will continue to tour globally, ensuring that these powerful expressions of unity reach and inspire audiences worldwide.

Over the past 17 years, Marcos Antonio’s vision has grown into a global movement—connecting communities, fostering dialogue, and inspiring a deeper understanding of one another.

We look forward to the day when all 193 artworks will be united, forming a historic tapestry immortalizing the handprints of nearly one million people—a timeless testament to our shared humanity.
